Evan Longoria’s career as a Giant hasn’t exactly started off with a bang. Among regular starters, Longoria’s .406 OPS is the lowest on the club through nine games, as are his .125 batting average and on-base percentage. In 32 plate appearances, Longoria has 11 strikeouts and just four hits.
Brian Murphy, Paul McCaffrey and Steven Seaweed share a mutual admiration working in the same building going on 15 years, although Murph and Mac have spent a long time in radio, they can’t touch ‘The Weedman’s’ 44 years on the job. As Seaweed steps away from his spot at 107.7 the Bone for the last 17 years, Murph and Mac welcomed him on air and praised him for everything he’s done for them over the years, while sharing a few stories along the way.
