Although Jimmy Garoppolo wowed the 49ers with his impressive starting debut, general manager John Lynch understands it’s more important how his promising quarterback follows up against the Houston Texans this Sunday.

The 49ers had a huge injury problem this year, and if changes aren’t made. it’s not going away.

Lynch hopes the 49ers can match the physicality they displayed in their close Week 2 loss to the Seahawks, but also wants his team to show growth by finishing the game with a win.
