Nathan Eovaldi is staying with the Texas Rangers, with multiple media outlets reporting Tuesday that the right-hander has agreed to a three-year, $75 million deal with the club.

Eovaldi returns to Texas after making 29 starts for the Rangers this past season. He went 12-8 with a 3.80 ERA and logged 170 2/3 innings.

It marked Eovaldi’s second season with Texas, and he was named an All-Star in his first, also helping the Rangers win the 2023 World Series. Eovaldi made two starts against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the Fall Classic, going 1-0 with a 4.22 ERA.

In 294 career appearances (275 starts), Eovaldi has pitched to a 91-81 record with a 4.07 ERA in stints with the Los Angeles Dodgers (2011-12), Miami Marlins (2012-14), New York Yankees (2015-16), Tampa Bay Rays (2018), Boston Red Sox (2018-22) and Rangers (2023-24).

Eovaldi, who turns 35 in February, is a two-time All-Star and a two-time World Series champion, getting a ring with Boston in 2018 before going all the way with Texas last year.
