Hunter Sallis scored in bunches on his way to 30 points as Wake Forest overcame visiting Stanford for an 80-67 victory Wednesday night in Atlantic Coast Conference play at Winston-Salem, N.C.Tre’von Spillers cranked out 18 points and 10 rebounds as the Demon Deacons (13-4, 5-1 ACC) won their fourth game in a row.Sallis, who made three 3-point baskets, shot 12-for-17 from the field and Spillers was 8-for-10. Sallis, who at one point in the second half had 10 straight Wake Forest points, eclipsed the 20-point mark for the sixth consecutive game.Cameron Hildreth, boosted by 10-for-10 shooting on free throws, finished with 12 points.Oziyah Sellers led Stanford (11-6, 3-3) with 16 points, while ACC scoring and rebounding leader Maxime Raynaud provided 14 points and 11 rebounds.Raynaud was held to nearly seven points below his season scoring average, going 6-for-11 from the field with a pair of 3-pointers. Yet it produced his nation-leading 14th double-double.Stanford’s Jaylen Blakes added 15 points and Ryan Agarwal had 14 points, but the Cardinal made only 8 of 24 attempts from 3-point range.Wake Forest won despite shooting 3-for-11 on 3-pointers.
