Saturday was the game the Giants were supposed to lose in their final three game series with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Instead, 25-year old Ty Blach out-dueled a guy who is widely acknowledged as the best pitcher in baseball.

The bats came alive for the Giants Friday night, beating the Dodgers at home 9-3. It was the first time the team has won back-to-back games since Sept. 15-16th vs. the Cardinals.

Posey, Bumgarner and Bochy all talked about what was going through their minds when protesters took the field Friday night and attempted to hand flowers to Giants players.

Madison Bumgarner became the third youngest pitcher in Giants history to win 100 games at the ripe age of 27 years, 60 days old. Only Christy Mathewson (24 years, 262 days) in 1905, and Hal Schumacher (24 years, 234 days) in 1938 were younger.

During the 4th inning of the Dodgers Friday night a fan ran out into left field and tried to hand Angel Pagan a flower. Pagan take any chances, slamming the fan to the ground.

If you thought the Giants had a big sixth inning on Thursday, Friday night probably knocked you out of your chair.
