The 49ers have swapped out utility offensive lineman.
With Daniel Brunskill leaving for the Titans in free agency, San Francisco has reportedly replaced him with veteran offensive lineman Jon Feliciano according to Kim Jones of Newsday.
Feliciano, 31, started 15 games for the Giants last season at center, part of a team that made it to the NFC divisional round. Feliciano started his career as a guard with the Raiders after being drafted in the fourth round. He played four years in Oakland before spending his next three seasons in Buffalo.
Feliciano can play every offensive line position, but specializes in the interior. Feliciano will likely slot behind Jake Brendel, but could also be available to fill in should injuries befall Aaron Banks or Spencer Burford. Jason Poe and Nick Zakelj are the other two reserves on the interior.
