The results of Stephen Curry’s MRI are not all that positive.
The two-time MVP will miss multiple weeks with a left leg injury according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The absence will last through the All-Star break in mid-February, but it’s unclear at this point exactly how many weeks Curry will miss at this time.
Curry sustained the knee injury during a collision while defending Dallas’ McKinley Wright in Saturday’s win over the Mavericks. Curry immediately went to the bench after the Mavericks called timeout. Curry met with two trainers and then limped to the locker room. He was later ruled out for the reminder of the game.
Earlier this season, Curry missed 11 games due to a left shoulder subluxation. The Warriors went 6-5 during that stretch.
