The 49ers are not double-digit favorites again this week.
San Francisco is favored by 3.5 points over the Dallas Cowboys according to the oddsmakers in Las Vegas, the closest spread of the upcoming divisional slate. This comes after the 49ers were listed as the second-biggest favorites during wild-card weekend, 9.5 points over the Seahawks.
The other odds for the weekend are the Bills by -5 over the Bengals, the Eagles -7.5 over the Giants and the Chiefs by 8.5 over the Jaguars.
Last year, Dallas was favored by -3.5 in the wild-card round vs. the 49ers at AT&T Stadium. San Francisco covered and won outright, 23-17.
The 49ers only played against one team that had at least as many wins as Dallas (12-5), when they faced Kansas City earlier in the year and were blown out at home, 44-23. Conversely the Cowboys beat the 12-win Bengals, the 13-win Vikings and the 14-win Eagles this year.
In other betting news, the 49ers are now the favorites in the NFC to make the Super Bowl at +400, edging the Eagles who are now at +500. Both are still behind the Chiefs (+280) and Bills (+325).
