Well, that was dirty.
After a 21-yard catch and run by Deebo Samuel in the third quarter of Saturday’s game, Seattle defensive back Johnathan Abram appeared to twist Samuel’s leg and ankle after making the tackle. Amazingly, a flag was not thrown on the play.
Samuel laid on the ground afterwards, appearing to be shaken up by Abram’s twist. After he got up, Samuel and other 49ers began pushing and shoving with the Seahawks before refs separated the two teams.
Kyle Shanahan had a meeting with the refs at the next stoppage in play, gesticulating wildly and berating them for not making a call.
