The 49ers are holding a reunion of the 2012 Super Bowl team, but not all the stars will be in attendance.

Michael Crabtree, the 49ers’ star receiver during that era, said on Twitter he didn’t get invited to Sunday’s ceremony in response to a tweet from 49ers CEO Jed York.

Crabtree, now retired, gained 1105 yards receiving and scored nine touchdowns in 2012, both career- and team-highs that season. Crabtree’s six-year tenure with the 49ers, who drafted him in 2009, was the best of his career, where he gained 4,327 yards and scored 26 touchdowns during his time in the Red & Gold.

It’s unclear what happened with Crabtree’s invite, but it’s hard to imagine the 49ers meant to not invite him, considering former head coach Jim Harbaugh got an invite despite his unceremonious exit from the organization in 2015.
