Warriors fans know first hand that Draymond Green’s on court fire, while the key to much of his success, can get him into trouble.
It sounds like that happened again on Wednesday at Warriors practice, when Green and Jordan Poole got into a physical altercation according to Shams Charania and Anthony Slater of The Athletic. The altercation began as pushing and shoving, but was reportedly escalated by Draymond who “forcefully struck Poole.”
Now the Warriors are considering disciplining Green for the incident. If he is suspended, it would be the second time Green has been disciplined by the Warriors, the first taking place during the 2018-19 season after a heated argument with Kevin Durant during a game.
According to the report, practice was stopped as the team tried to deescalate the situation in the locker room area.
Poole and Green are known to mix it up during practice, but this incident is considered to have crossed the line.
