There are still question marks for the 49ers’ star tight end, George Kittle.
It was unclear if he would practice this week after sitting out all of last week through Thursday of this week with a groin injury. But on Friday, Kittle returned to practice for the first time since suffering the injury.
General manager John Lynch said it would be “crucial” for Kittle to get back out onto the practice field to have a chance to make his season debut.
But this doesn’t guarantee Kittle will play.
He is officially listed as “questionable” this week, while Daniel Brunskill is listed as out.
Kyle Shanahan said Friday that while Kittle “looked awesome,” and is healthier than he was last week, his status is still up in the air. The 49ers may make a decision on Saturday night, or take it up to game time.
Below is the Seahawks’ game status report:
Corners Artie Burns (groin) and Justin Coleman (calf) are both listed as questionable, while safety Joey Blount (hamstring) is doubtful.
