Andrew Wiggins has an injury scare ahead of Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.
Wiggins is listed as questionable with left ankle soreness, an injury he is believed to have sustained late in the first half of Game 2.
The good news? Steve Kerr expects him to play.
“I expect him to play,” Kerr said during Saturday’s presser. “Technically he’s questionable but we expect him to play.”
In addition to averaging 15 points and over 6 rebounds during the postseason, Wiggins is the primary defender on Luka Doncic, and a crucial part of the Warriors lineup vs. the Mavs. Wiggins had 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in Game 2, and was +16 during his 38 minutes on the floor, the second highest plus-minus on the team.
