The key 49ers offseason move you were all waiting for has finally happened.
Kemoko Turay has signed with the San Francisco 49ers, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Turay was a former second-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft and got off to a hot start as a rookie with a 4.0-sack season, before missing substantial time in his next two years — playing in just 11-of-32 games — largely due to an ankle fracture.
Despite those early career ups and downs, Turay was extremely productive last season.
He played in 13 games for a career-high 5.5 sacks and displayed the freak athleticism. He also tested extremely well before being drafted. You’d think he’s the exact sort of cheap, high-upside addition Kris Kocurek could get decent production out of.
