We’re not really into promoting athlete commercials here at KNBR.com, but when you get Trey Lance and Jerry Rice on the same field, it’s worth a mention.
The 49ers’ new QB teams up with the NFL’s leading receiver in new ad for Chipotle, throwing passes to the 58-year-old rice before eating mexican food in the bleachers.
The biggest takeaway beyond the fact that Lance seems to have a natural charm that will make advertisers swoon, is the fact that Rice still looks like he could catch a few balls at the NFL level. This really shouldn’t come as a surprise. Just four years ago, Rice showed up at 49ers practice and wow’d everyone in his attendance with his ability.
