The Warriors have added their second player to a minimum contract in as many days.

This time it’s stretch big Nemanja Bjelica, a Serbian national who spent time between Sacramento and Miami last season.

At 6-foot-10, Bejelica, 33, would seemingly fit well when the Warriors play with an undersized five on the court, notably the shooting averse Draymond Green. Like Otto Porter Jr., who Golden State signed on Monday, Bejelica is very good 3-point shooter, with a 38.7 percent career average. It should be noted that Bejelica shot much worse last season (31.8 percent from deep) as he dealt with injury issues that relegated him to just 37 games. In the three seasons prior, he shot over 40 percent from downtown.

Next on the Warriors list would seem to be a playmaking guard and/or ball handler. Because both Bejelica and Porter have been signed to minimum deals (around $2 million per year) Golden State still has the taxpayer mid-level exception, which is worth $5.8 million for one year according to Spotrac. Patty Mills remains available and has been reported as a Warriors target.
