Kent Bazemore has ruffled the feathers of Bradley Beal’s wife after some comments he made about the NBA scoring title on Monday.
Speaking about Saturday’s Warriors win over the Thunder in which Stephen Curry scored 49 points in 29 minutes, Bazemore referenced the fact that Beal, who Curry is just leading for the NBA scoring title, hurt his hamstring while scoring 50 points that same night.
“Forty-nine points in 29 minutes, that’s unreal,” Bazemore said at shootaround. “We got guys hurting hamstrings to keep up.”
Beal is projected to miss the next two games with the injury. Though the comment seemed to be said in jest, Beal’s wife, Kamiah Adams-Beal, didn’t see the humor in it, and posted a series of tweets letting the world know what she thinks of Bazemore as a basketball player. Hint: She doesn’t think he’s very good.
I’ll just leave this right here…

I’m mad we even giving relevancy to someone most people didn’t even know was still in the league.

Curry is averaging 31.9 points per game while Beal is close behind at 31.4 PPG. The race is spicy enough on it’s own, even more so after today’s development.
