Maybe the Warriors are going to do something at the trade deadline after all.
Two hours before the noon deadline, NBA reporter Marc Stein tweeted that the Warriors are a possible destination for veteran wing Danny Green, who Golden State saw during their loss to the Sixers on Tuesday.
The Warriors have emerged as a possible trade destination for Philadelphia's Danny Green, league sources say.

Green, 33, is still a very useful player, shooting 39 percent from 3-point range this season while playing solid wing defense. What’s interesting is that Green is on an expiring contract, and there doesn’t seem to be much point in acquiring Green for just this season, especially if Kelly Oubre is included in the deal.
Perhaps the Warriors want to get Green in the building now with the belief that it will make it easier to re-sign him for a title run next season. Perhaps the Warriors do want to include Oubre in the deal, and swap expirings because the Sixers are including sweeteners, like a first-round pick, although that is shaping up to be one of the worst in the upcoming draft.
We’ll just have to wait and see what Bob Myers has up his sleeve.
