LeBron James might be an incredible general manager one day.
His All-Star team dominated Kevin Durant’s on Sunday, winning every quarter in the 170-150 victory.
Part of the reason was James’ second pick Stephen Curry, who dropped 28 points on eight three pointers in a highlight filled performance. It’s the first time LeBron and Curry have ever been on the same team, with both in different conferences for the majority of their careers and their paths never crossing on the Olympic team.
The two seemed like they had a blast playing together, and LeBron confirmed as much in two postgame tweets.
Finally got to share the floor with @StephenCurry30! Well overdue and I loved every single second!! #GreatestShooterOfAllTime #ChangedHowTheGameIsPlayedByHimselfAlone #RespectBeyondWords #JustSomeKidsBornInAKRON??

Curry responded in kind, also referencing the fact that both are natives of Akron, OH.
Much love bro! #TeamLeBron with the W while we at it. #akron https://t.co/rjY0RKwx1v

It’s quite likely that either LeBron or Steph are All-Star team captains in the future, and based on how things went, it wouldn’t be a surprise if this isn’t that last time they team up.
