This is starting to get ridiculous.
A game after losing Kevon Looney for at least two weeks with a sprained ankle, the Warriors are down another big. This time it’s Eric Paschall, who was a late scratch before Thursday’s game vs. the Mavericks, after waking up with knee swelling.
Paschall isn’t a true center, but he was one of three available players who can play the position heading into Thursday’s game. Now they are down to two in Draymond Green and Juan Toscano-Anderson, both of whom will be in the starting lineup. Steve Kerr said they will take turns playing the five throughout the game.
Golden State was already without all their “true” centers, Looney joining James Wiseman (wrist) and out for the season Marquese Chriss on the injured list on Wednesday. In all, the Warriors will have nine available players in Dallas.
Nine available Warriors in Dallas tonight
-Guards: Steph Curry, Mychal Mulder, Brad Wanamaker
-Wings: Andrew Wiggins, Kelly Oubre, Kent Bazemore, Damion Lee
-Bigs: Draymond Green, Juan Toscano-Anderson
