It’s one thing if you took issue with Klay Thompson’s savage roasting of Rodney McGruder on Saturday night, but former NBA player Glen “Big Baby” Davis took things way too far.
Davis said on Instagram that Thompson’s back-to-back catastrophic injuries are “karma” for comments like the ones he made about McGruder, who Klay said “might be out of the league soon” after the Detroit role player got in the face of Juan Toscano-Anderson following Saturday’s game.

“I don’t know, this dude might be out of the league soon, he might be mad about that,” Thompson said when asked about what McGruder was doing on the telecast. “Over here trying to start something like he’s a good player or something. Like bro get outta here.”
Rodney McGruder walked over to the Warriors bench after the game so the broadcast team asked Klay Thompson what was going on:
"This dude might be out the league soon, he might be mad about that. Who knows."

This isn’t the first time an NBA player has embarrassed themselves with comments about Klay’s injuries. Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma also said it was karma when Thompson tore his ACL during the 2019 NBA Finals, for when Kawhi Leonard got hurt after landing on Zaza Pachulia’s foot in the 2017 playoffs.
Klay’s comments were nothing compared to Draymond Green’s nearly two minute roast of McGruder after the game.
