Draymond Green is officially back, gets technical from the bench

At the time of this publication, Draymond Green has more technicals (one) than points (zero).

Draymond Green is back.

In his second game of the season after a foot injury delayed his debut, Green didn’t even need to be on the court to have an effect — even if it wasn’t exactly a positive one. Shortly after subbing out of Sunday’s Chase Center matchup with the Trail Blazers, Green kept jawing with Damian Lillard, resulting in double technicals in the first quarter.

It was unclear why the star forward and star Oakland native got in each other’s heads, and Green rarely needs much incentive to rack up extra whistles. Whatever the cause, the Warriors looked enthused early on, jumping out to a 36-33 lead at the end of the first against the same team they just lost to by 25 points.

Green was 0-for-1 with no points at the close of the session, but he knows how to fill up the boxscore in conventional and unconventional ways.
