Brandon Aiyuk couldn’t be with his teammates in Los Angeles for their season sweep of the Rams on Sunday, but that wasn’t going to stop him from celebrating.
The standout rookie wide receiver, who was still on the COVID/reserve list come game time, posted a video on his Instagram story of Robbie Gould’s game winning kick going through the uprights before grabbing a broom.
The 23-20 victory is the fourth in a row for the 49ers over the Rams who certainly appear to have Sean McVay’s number for the time being. Aiyuk’s fellow receiver, Deebo Samuel, did some trolling of his own at the expense of Aaron Donald, who pretended not to know who Samuel is after their previous meeting.
