It’s understandable for a player to be upset when their teammate is traded. It’s less common for them to voice that reaction publicly.
That’s what it appears Jerick McKinnon did on Monday morning, after news broke that linebacker Kwon Alexander was traded to the New Orleans Saints for a 6th round pick and linebacker Kiko Alonso.

This is the second time a 49ers player has voiced their displeasure on Twitter after a transaction this season. Rookie wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk also dropped a WTF when the 49ers cut wide receiver Mohamed Sanu earlier in the year.
McKinnon also responded to a commenter who said, “Worry about your play pal & don’t play the GM role okay! So STFU.”
