Tom Brady is expected to become a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Truly bizarre news during one of the most bizarre times in history. The 14-time Pro Bowler, 6-time Super Bowl winner, 3-time MVP and now former Patriots quarterback announced early on Tuesday morning that he would not be returning to the Patriots.

It was made clear in the time between then and his decision that he was choosing between the Chargers and Tampa Bay Buccanneers. According to Adam Schefter, Brady has opted for the Buccaneers, though both teams made competitive offers of more than $30 million per year. There is not an announcement imminent according to Schefter.

Schefter also reported that Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht said that despite a Monday conversation, the Buccaneers were just as in the dark about the Brady situation as everyone else up until Tuesday.
