Nine-year old Riley Morrison was in the market for a new pair of basketball shoes, but was having trouble finding a pair of Stephen Curry’s Under Armour shoes online. That’s because the Curry 5s were not available in girl’s sizes.
So Morrison took things into her own hands, and wrote a letter to the two-time MVP, playing up the fact that he’s the father of two girls and runs a girl’s basketball camp.
“I hope you can work with Under Armour to change this because girls want to rock Curry 5’s too,” Morrison wrote.

Morrison’s letter worked. Curry responded, saying not only that he’d make the Curry’s available in girl’s sizes, but that he’d be sending her a pair of Curry 5s, and “you’ll be one of the first kids to get the Curry 6.” Curry also invited Morrison to celebrate International Women’s Day in Oakland on March 8.
Appreciate you helping us get better Riley! We got you. #MoreToCome pic.twitter.com/UBoTklvwhg
