Ah, baseball season is upon us and there’s nothing more special than Opening Day.
Coaches strategized, grounds keepers groomed, and radio hosts chatted in preparation for Opening Day. AT&T was ripe with energy as the fans funneled in to enjoy a spot of day baseball.
2018 Marks the 60th year of Giant’s baseball in San Francisco and the 18th season at AT&T Park. At a comfortable 70 degrees the park was adorned with special red, white and blue bunting.
The Giant’s also paid special tribute before the game to late San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee. Giants’ CEO Larry Baer and manager Bruce Bochy presented his wife a special number 43 Giants jersey to represent Lee being the 43rd mayor of San Francisco.
The Giants play the Mariners tomorrow with an early start of 4:15p.
