Kevin Durant apologized at Warriors shootaround on Wednesday, for both his ejection from Tuesday’s game against the Knicks, and comments he made afterwards saying the he was targeted by the officials because he had hurt their feelings.

Here’s KD’s apology from Wednesday, where he said he was being an “asshole” and “diva.”

Following KDs mea culpa, the Twitter account representing the NBA referees said they accepted his apology, and that they hoped that this type of dialogue will continue when the players and referees hold a summit during All-Star weekend.

Durant’s 10 technicals are tied for second in the NBA this year, behind league-leader and teammate Draymond Green, who currently has 11.
