Kevin Durant to miss Thursday’s game vs. Rockets

Despite playing all of Wednesday’s game against the Mavericks, Kevin Durant will miss Thursday’s much anticipated matchup against the Rockets with a right calf strain. It is believed that Durant injured the calf on a fall in the first quarter against Dallas, that appeared to cause Durant discomfort shortly after. Durant looked fine for the rest of the game, finishing with 25 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, and four blocks.

Forward Omri Casspi, who missed Wednesday’s game, is questionable with a mid-back strain he sustained in practice on Tuesday.

Andre Iguodala also missed Wednesday’s game, but is not currently listed on the injury report. It is unknown at this point if he will start in Durant’s place.

This will be Durant’s sixth missed game of the season.
