This might be the funniest fumble in the history of the NFL outside of the butt-fumble.
Early in the fourth quarter, Derek Carr was stripped of the football while trying to make a throw against the Miami Dolphins. Raiders’ Tackle Marshall Newhouse had the wherewithal to find the ball, pick it up, and start running.
And the rest is history:

There’s so much to love from this play. First, the ferocity at which Newhouse starts to run downfield, tucking the ball and heading with a full head of steam towards the endzone.
Then of course, how quickly his dream of a 50-plus yard touchdown gets squashed when Kiko Alonzo comes flying in like a missile at Newhouse’s leg. And finally, the full spin Newhouse performs before landing on his back and losing the ball.
The internet, of course, had a field day with the big-man helicopter.
