Steph Curry has been ejected twice in his career.

On both occasions, he chucked his mouthguard.

On Saturday evening in Memphis, Curry was ejected in the closing moments of the Warriors’ 111-101 loss after the Golden State point guard tossed his mouthguard in the direction of an official who did not call a foul Curry believed he earned on a driving layup.

After Curry made a late basket, he turned and fired his mouthpiece and was immediately tossed from the game. Seconds later, the Warriors’ other MVP, Kevin Durant, was also ejected. On his way off the floor, Durant flashed his ring finger in the air.

The last time Curry was ejected was in Game 6 of the 2016 NBA Finals when Curry tossed his mouthguard at a Cavaliers’ fan in a Golden State loss.

Curry and Durant combined for 65 points on Saturday evening, but that wasn’t enough for Golden State to avoid suffering its second loss in three games to start the season.
