Throughout the 2017 Las Vegas Summer League, Lonzo Ball’s shoes have been as big of a story as his on-court performance. Big Baller Brand made Lonzo’s signature shoe, but because his father LaVar started the company, Lonzo’s been allowed to wear whatever shoes he wanted throughout the Summer League.
He wore BBB shoes in his first game, but has since moved on to wearing Kobes and James Harden’s signature Adidas shoe. Saturday night against the Nets, Lonzo went for his third different shoe brand in as many games, and busted out a pair of the new Curry 4s from Under Armour.

Ball went out and scored 14 points to go along with nine rebounds and seven assists in the Currys, which won’t be released until September, but it turned out there was more to the story of how Ball got this particular pair of kicks in the first place. It turned out that Steph himself sent Lonzo a personal pair of his shoes to wear.
He asked Stephen for a pair and he was cool enough to send over his personal pair. Possibly wears the same sz. https://t.co/t92357Z03N

Lonzo and the Lakers play again in the semifinals of the Vegas Summer League on Sunday night, so he’ll have another footwear decision to make before he takes on Dallas.
