JR Smith doesn’t appreciate Draymond Green ‘kicking people in the nuts’

OAKLAND – It’s no secret that the Golden State Warriors like to play fast. In Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the Warriors outscored the Cleveland Cavaliers 27 to 9 in transition.

During Saturday’s media availability a reporter asked JR Smith if the Cavs will try to “dirty up” the game and slow it down. Smith seemed to take offense to the question, and flipped it back on the Warriors.

“Dirtying up the game?” Smith said. “I don’t know about that. They got one guy who keeps kicking people in the nuts. I don’t know about that. But we don’t dirty up the game. We just play physical. Some people don’t like physicality, and that’s what it is.”

BEEEEEEEEEF.

We can only assume that Smith is taking a shot at Draymond Green, who’s been known to throw his limbs around in interesting directions while playing basketball. Regardless, all the chatter off the court makes the game on the court more interesting.
