It’ll be hard to top anything more embarrassing happening to an entire team than the 44-point loss the Boston Celtics endured at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
But as far as individual embarrassments are concerned, this is up there.
It was a microcosm of what Game 3, and the entire series for that matter, have been about. Same can be said for the way Game 3 unfolded. The Spurs had a lead early, albeit a small one, and the Warriors came back to embarrass San Antonio in a fashion that might leave the team wondering if it needs one more star to be able to hang with the loaded Warriors.
