OAKLAND — Peculiarly, the NBA released times for every Game 1 of the first round of the playoffs Wednesday evening.
After debuting in the postseason on Saturday for two straight seasons, the Warriors will tip-off Sunday at 12:30 p.m. against the Portland Trail Blazers. Here’s an in-depth preview on the matchup from our Jake Montero.
A year ago, Kerr complained about the Saturday time slot.
“Same thing happened last year,” Kerr said. “It’s a quick turnaround. I always thought the Sunday time slot was the coveted TV slot, but maybe that’s changed, because two years in a row we’re playing Saturday afternoon. So very, very little time to prepare.
“But obviously the same goes for Houston, and we’ve got to play, so we’ll get ready. Tomorrow the coaches will gather and get our game plan together.”
Here’s the rest of the schedule.
