OAKLAND – Klay Thompson is having another fantastic year, averaging a career-high 22.1 points per game while shooting .468 from the floor and .413 from beyond the arc.

He also has a propensity for scoring a large amount of points in small amounts of time, and is always a shot or two away from a big one-man scoring run.

Thompson put in another efficient night from the field Sunday against the visiting Memphis Grizzlies, scoring 31 points on 12-for-18 from the field and 7-for-11 from deep. A member of the media asked Draymond what about his game makes it easy for him to heat up so quickly, and Draymond was quick to answer.

“He has a torch.”
