With the excitement surrounding the 49ers at the highest it’s been since the Jim Harbaugh-era, 49ers left tackle Joe Staley sent out a tweet Thursday morning pitching the team as an excellent destination for free agents.
Any free agents considering the @49ers just know that it is in the 70s today and excitement around the franchise is high. Be a part of it!

At 1 p.m. PT on Thursday, teams can begin officially signing free agents. The 49ers already have four offensive players – QB Brian Hoyer, FB Kyle Juszczyk, WR Pierre Garcon, WR Marquise Goodwin – reportedly set to ink deals, and it looks like Staley, a 49er since 2007, is trying to ensure this is just the beginning.
The so-called “legal tampering” period ends in 4 hours, at which point pen can meet paper. Five-time Pro Bowl LT Joe Staley makes his pitch. https://t.co/vyG4SZB9Ev

Solid recruiting pitch by @jstaley74. If he mentioned the food, #49ers would have to make roster cuts to accommodate the FA signings. #49wz https://t.co/nUTU4YVjnh
