OAKLAND – This isn’t the first time Kevin Durant has missed a significant amount of time on the court with an injury. Durant missed the end of the 2014 season when he underwent three foot surgeries to deal with lingering problems.
The former MVP met with the media before the Warriors hosted the Celtics to update with the progress he’s made so far, and he was in high spirits despite an uncertain timetable for his return.
‘I got a boo-boo playing basketball, it is what it is man,’ Durant said. ‘I’m ok. My spirits are good. My family is good. I’m doing what I love to do every single day.’
Durant entered the interview in a huge leg brace and crutches:
