Despite being mired in a three-game shooting slump, Stephen Curry took sole possession of 10th place on the all-time 3-pointers list during Golden State’s clash with the Knicks on Sunday.
Curry hit the 1,831st three-pointer of his seven-year career in the second quarter, passing up Chauncey Billups who made 1,830 in 17 seasons. Curry has played in only 556 games, while every player above him on the all-time list has played more than 1,000
Curry leads the NBA with 237 3-pointers made, and is currently on pace to make 300 for the second-consecutive year, which would be second best all-time. Curry set the record for 3-pointers made in a season last year with 402.
Utah Jazz shooting guard Joe Johnson sits in ninth place on the all-time list with 1,903. Ray Allen is the NBA record holder for career 3-pointers made with 2,973.
