SCOTTSDALE – Austin Slater was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 2014 out of Stanford University in eighth-round.
After only hitting five home runs during his entire tenure at Stanford and five more in the first two years of his minor league career, Slater hit 18 bombs in 2016. Slater took some time to chat with The Audible’s Drew Hoffar about where he thinks his newfound power came from.
