SCOTTSDALE – It’s a moment most prospects dream of, the call up from the minors to the major leagues.
Christian Arroyo, one of the top prospects in the San Francisco Giants organization, opened up to 1050’s morning show The Audible Thursday morning about a possible call from Giants GM Bobby Evans.
“I’m sure I’ll tear up,” Arroyo said. “And then the first person I call is my mom and I’m sure she’ll tear up…and then I’ll start tearing up more.”
“It’s been a long, really fun journey. But for me, I just try to think of it as OK, you got that little time where you can be happy and you can kind of live in the moment. And then after that, you’re getting called up to win ballgames. So then it’s time to get to it and start competing.”
