Warriors guard Ian Clark has come a long way since joining Golden State’s Summer League team back in 2013. He has now become one of Steve Kerr’s most reliable options coming off the bench.
CSN Bay Area’s Monte Poole joined Murph & Mac to discuss how Clark has grown from a player in the Summer League to now one of the more important pieces off the bench for the team with the best record in the NBA.
“Right now, he’s their best pure offensive threat off the bench, and he’s good at it — he’s good at it,” Poole said. “So let him play and that’s what Steve Kerr has been doing.
“He’s made himself into an NBA player after spending the first two years after spending the first two years of his pro career in the D-League one day, NBA the next day, the D-League the next day, NBA the next day. He’s here to stay now.”
