This past weekend in Oakland won’t be one we won’t soon forget, with over 35 people tragically losing their lives in the Oakland Warehouse Fire.
Gary Radnich catches a lot of flak for his views and takes on Bay Area sports, both on air and online. But this week Gary dropped by the Digital Lounge to share some perspective on the fire in Oakland, and the role that sports can play in the healing process.
If you would like to help those most affected by the fire, there are multiple ways you can do so:
The Oakland Mayor’s office and the American Red Cross have teamed up to support victims and the families of those who died in the fire. You can donate here.
The Oakland A’s and the Oakland Raiders have both said they will match up to $50,000 worth of donations. You can donate here.
If you live in the Oakland area, a document has been made where you can donate food, time, shelter, or any other provisions to those affected.
