Kerr was less-than-happy with the officiating after his team’s 127-121 victory over the Toronto Raptors last Wednesday. It didn’t take him long to express his disappointment either.
Thursday, Kerr joined KNBR hosts Tom Tolbert and John Lund and definitely didn’t hold back when asked about the previous night’s officiating.
“Speaking of which, did you enjoy the DeMar DeRozan foray to the rim last night?” Kerr said. “How is it that everybody on earth can see these traveling violations except for the three people that we pay to do the job? I don’t get it.”
It’s not the first time Steve Kerr has questioned NBA officiating, nor the first time he’s being punished for it. In June earlier this year, Kerr and Stephen Curry were both fined $25,000 for expressing their displeasure with the officiating against Curry in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
The Warriors will look to wrap up a 4-0 sweep on their current road trip against the Pacers in Indianapolis Monday night.
