49ers center Daniel Kilgore gave an enlightening interview with Tolbert and Lund on Thursday, chatting about credit card roulette and Eric Reid’s accidental comments about Tom Brady’s “balls.”

He also said it’s obvious the 49ers cannot overcome shooting themselves in the foot. The team has now lost eight straight games.

So what will it take for a victory?

“We’ve got to go out there and give all four quarters of perfect ball game,” Kilgore said. “We’ve got to go out there and play a perfect game. From beginning until the end, we’ve got to play perfect.”

The 49ers have not been able to play perfectly so far in 2016. Kilgore really lamented a holding penalty he was called for that wiped out a drive that was in the red zone. He respectfully disagreed with the call.

“I feel like I did let go when I felt his momentum going away from me,” Kilgore said. “But I guess the referee saw it otherwise. I just find it hard to believe a 350-pound defensive tackle can chase down Colin Kaepernick.”
