Madison Bumgarner continued his postseason dominance last night, pitching a shutout in Wednesday’s 3-0 victory in the NL Wild Card playoff.
Former Giants pitcher Noah Lowry joined The Audible on Wednesday morning to talk about how Bumgarner’s relationship with catcher Buster Posey is one of the key’s to his postseason success.
“You’ve got that battery rapport that’s sort of built up and that’s a rapport that goes throughout the entire team,” Lowry said. “You see they sort of blend together and flow very nicely throughout the game…I didn’t see him shake him many times if at all and so again, to know you have that there, it keeps the infield on their toes.”
“It keeps the game moving, and again you saw it last night.”
