Former 49er and current Oakland Raider Aldon Smith is currently suspended until November for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy.
That suspension could become much longer.
CSNBayArea.com unearthed several Periscope social media posts that appear to show Smith with a rolled cigar, a video entitled “fire up session” alluding to smoking marijuana, and a young woman trying to convince him not to post the video.
“You’re stupid. You’re tripping. (Expletive deleted), they don’t know it’s me. It’s not like I put “Aldon Smith…” and then the Periscope post cuts off.
Smith attempted to keep a pseudo identity by using an account called “ravenga” and the name “Ricky.” Obviously, the NFL is looking into this situation.
As expected, source says #NFL looking into possibility Aldon Smith engaged in behavior that violates protocols for suspended player

Smith has multiple DUI convictions, a hit and run and vandalism charges to his name and was released by the 49ers during training camp last season, after his fifth arrest in three seasons.
Smith is maintaining his innocence.
Good try, not me
