The latest Warriors bench player to join the parade out of Oakland is now former Splash Cousin Marreese Speights. The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting the backup big man agreed to terms with the rival Clippers early Friday morning.

‘Mo Buckets’ played his way into the hearts of Dub Nation with his instant offense, extended range to the three-point line, and the largest smile in the NBA. In three seasons coming off the bench for the Warriors, Speights averaged 8.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 0.7 assists, while shooting 46 percent from the floor and 33 percent from deep.
During his tenure in the Bay, the fiery Speights bolstered the Warriors’ second unit on offense with his smooth mid-range jumper the instant he came off the bench. However, he took the second unit to new heights last season when he extended his range to the 3-point line, averaging at least one attempt a game and sinking more than a third of those.
