For the second time in four years, Dodgers starting pitcher Julio Urías has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.

Urías was arrested on domestic violence charges late Sunday just after 11 p.m. and booked into jail around 1 a.m, according to ESPN. He was released on $50,000 bond at 4:47 a.m. and has a court date of Sept. 27.

Urías, 27, did not join the Dodgers for their six-game road trip that starts in Miami on Tuesday, and the club released a statement saying they are aware of the incident.

Urías was also arrested on suspicion of domestic battery in 2019 and was suspended for 20 games, though ultimately not charged. No player has been suspended twice for violating MLB’s domestic violence policy since it was instituted in 2019.

It is likely that Urías will be placed on the league’s administrative leave list as an investigation is conducted. Urías’ court date is scheduled for the final week of the regular season.
