As is often the case in the lead up to training camp, the Golden State Warriors have a few flexible roster spots. They intend to make use of them, with Anthony Slater and Shams Charania reporting that Golden State will work out a host of players.
Among them are two former Warriors in Juan Toscano-Anderson and Kent Bazemore, along with veterans like Dion Waiters, Tony Snell, Harry Giles and Grey Burke.
Golden State currently has two open roster spots plus a couple of two-way slots. Slater reports that a training camp competition for those vacancies is expected.
The range of options among that list is wide, with Burke and Waiters both scoring options, Giles a front court distributor, and Tony Snell, Bazemore and Toscano-Anderson varying types of wings. Golden State could go a number of directions.
